AIMP is a freeware. It does not contain any ads, promotions or splash screens. Components are the plugins that can be added to foobar to extend its functionality. JetAudio is in the audio players category what VLC is in the video players category; it is underused. JetAudio has tons of audio related features. It has X-Bass and X-Surround features for configuring the bass and surround respectively, it also has the Crossfade feature. Timer and Alarm features are also present.

As far as I'm aware, there are only 2 methods available to run Milkdrop on foobar, two bridge plugins, one being shpeck the most popular one and another bridge plugin that I can't remember the name, but it's not just for visualization plugins but for all Winamp compatible plugins.
