What is the load you are putting on the router? SIze of file? Streaming or copying? Is this wired and wireless or wired only? Could you use a switch between your two devices and have it take on the load?

My isp gives me mb download and 20mb upload so not a bandwidth thing when I download a large file on a wired connection all my wireless devices lose connection and come back when it's finished.

Message 10 of Message 11 of Ive fixed mine runs great now. I found that it was a dodgy cable even though it said cat 5e it for some reason took out the entire system.

It was connected to a powerline adaptor as well don't know if you have any of those in the system. Took me a little time but I sat with my router and plugged each one it at a time to narrow down which part was causing and issue then went through everything plugging in one cable at at a time until I found out which one it was.
